Come see us at TC Maker Fest on Saturday, September 12, from 10 AM–5 PM!

TC Maker Fest is a free, all-ages street fair hosted by TC Maker in South Minneapolis. This year’s festival will take place on 31st Ave S and E 26th St, near the TC Maker building, and will feature free art and craft activities, demonstrations, food trucks, performances, and a makers’ market showcasing 150 local artists and craftspeople.

Spend the day exploring one of Minneapolis’ biggest block parties, celebrating makers and artists of all kinds!

We’ll be out on the street sharing more about who we are and what we do, with two special demonstrations throughout the day:

Red Sand Casting Demo
Our lead jewelry instructor, Laura Juul, will demonstrate red sand casting and share a look at this unique jewelry-making process.

Mushroom Glass Implosion Demo
Later in the afternoon, our boro glass instructor, Ashley Austen, will demonstrate mushroom glass implosion—a fascinating technique that transforms molten glass into intricate forms.
