📍 George Floyd Square, South Minneapolis
We’re kicking off Black Business Week exactly where we should — on the block where history holds, where culture breathes, and where Black business has always been more than just survival. It’s legacy. Legacy on the Block is a powerful gathering rooted in the spirit, grit, and brilliance of the 38th Street corridor — a gathering built by us, for us, and about us.
This is about power. This is about healing. This is about reclaiming space, telling our stories, and planting seeds for the future.
🔥 What’s happening:
Food court + tastings from local vendors
Art crawl + gallery talks
Historic walking tours
Fireside panel featuring special guests and community voices
Open mic + live performances
Healing stations + produce giveaways
Black brilliance everywhere you look
Brought to you by the 38th Street Business Coalition — Healthy Roots Institute, CityFoodStudio, PLOT Gallery, MN Agape Movement, Sabathani Community Center, The Central Neighborhood; Minneapolis Mn, and more.
This ain’t just a kickoff. It’s a call-in.
