Comments, questions, and concerns about Failure? Good! For this months Open HeARTh we have local artist, educator, and oracle Grover Hogan joining us as they present and facilitate a mini version of The Star Party: A Workshop on Failure. There will be an overhead projector, drawing materials, and discussions about big feelings, personal histories, and what we can and can't control. (It's a lot more light hearted than it sounds!) Join us this Friday, July 17th from 5-7pm. This workshop made possible by the Minneapolis Cultural Districts Arts Fund.
[Photo ID: Graphic with a scrapbook style. There is a yellow and blue diamond shape, a photo of a cat licking, a black and yellow drawn star, a camera, a hand that looks like its writing "Open HeARTh Featuring: Grover Hogan, Friday, July 17th, 5-7pm" on a brown piece of paper with torn edges that is on top of a torn edged notebook page. There are cartoon eyes looking up at the camera in the upper right corner, cartoon arms on hips, cartoon legs, there is a paper airplane on the lower left, under it a photo of a dried flower, there is a handful of hand drawn starts on the lower right.]
